Welcome...Billinghay is a quiet rural village which offers the peace and tranquility that so many of us crave for. Situated in the centre of Lincolnshire we have an abundance of history and amenities all on our doorstep. These include: RAF Coningsby - One of the major and most famous RAF stations in the UK and also home to the 'Eurofighter' and the Lancaster Bomber. RAF Waddington - Home to one of the largest air shows in Europe. RAF Cranwell - The RAF's Pilot Officer Training Wing and recent home of His Royal Highness Prince William during his Pilot training. Tattershall Castle - A medieval castle dating back to the 1440's and built for Lord Cromwell. Lincoln Cathedral - With some of the building dating as far back as 1072, it was recently used to film sequences for the highly acclaimed film 'Da Vinci Code' which starred Tom Hanks. Woodhall Spa - Renowned for it's highly rated Golf course, exceptional hotels and it's 'Olde world' charm.It is also 18th in the World's Top One Hundred golf courses as well as being home to the English Golf Union. South Kyme - Home of the 77 foot high tower, all that remains of the many towers that formed part of a 14th century castle sited there.
And of course - Billinghay itself. Home of the Billinghay Feast celebrating the bringing in of the harvest and held every October!!!!! Situated on the banks of the Billinghay Beck, Billinghay has seen many changes and has adapted itself to housing more than 2000 people many of whom are Service men and women who are based in and around Lincolnshire.
